I struggle with these sprays.... mostly because they don't lend themselves to clean, graphic design (that's totally my opinion!) Shimmer sprays are really quite beautiful, I've discovered. While making these two projects I've found that I really do like them, I'm just not always sure when to use them!
Stamp It! Techniques Week: The Stamping with Shimmer Sprays Challenge helped me out of my limping attitude toward these sparkly spritzers of loveliness. Do you use them often? If so, how? I'd love to see what you do with them, please leave me a link in your comment so I can check out your idea and leave some love for you. :)

| I found some interesting differences between using light and dark card stock. |
 |
| I like the shimmer on embossed card stock, pretty cool! |
 |
| This one is a bit more subtle.... pretty on patterned paper. |
 |
| The challenge mostly lies in getting the shimmer to show up on a photo. |
Super cute card! Love the first one the best - I think is the fabulous background!
ReplyDeleteI love mists - I like the maya (no shimmery) mists the best...but I have a few good techniques for the glittery kind. I love tone on tone, misting on patterned paper, and making crinkle ribbon.
Here is on of my creations using glimmer mists over patterned paper and making crinkle ribbon.
