I've been gone for a while. Germany and Prague to be precise. My husband and I traveled with his sister, her husband and their 6 children in order to help them move there from San Jose, California. They'll be there for 2 years for work purposes. Did I mention that all the kids are under the age of 8? Yeah. It was crazy. But we had a lovely time, and I hope to share some inspiration from all the old architectural beauty that I observed and adored.
I am so happy to be home. At my desk. All my crafty goodness surrounding me. It's comfort, like a blanket. Here's my first creation since my three week absence from my favorite room.

| Some old world colors set against a serene blue sky... I saw so much of that on my latest adventure. |
 |
| The punched layer is meant to look like a lattice-work panel. Flowers climbing across complete the look. |

This card is a result of thinking about the
Moxie Fab World Beautiful Borders Challenge. The punch is done on either side of a single piece of card stock, then set between the top and bottom of a card front. It's meant to be seen through, the chocolate layered behind (on the card back) gives it contrast when closed. That chunky glitter reminds me of all the statuary and golden aspects of the cathedrals that I visited.
Hey Alicia! Thanks for linking this up to the Beautiful Borders challenge in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun!
