So I got my hands on some of the fabulous
"the girls' paperie" product this last weekend. It's fabulous, darling, and wonderful stuff - let me tell you. I was meandering around the blogosphere and came across a opportunity I just couldn't pass-up: A new design team call for the ever-darling
Rhonna Designs. So I whipped-up this little beauty today in hopes of landing a sweet spot on that team, we'll see, right? Wish me luck and put in a good word for me.

| Made from 4 A-6 envelopes. |
 |
| I painted the ends of popsicle sticks, then added all of the basic family chores. |
 |
| As Momma of the house, I get to make assignments by placing the sticks into each child's pocket. |
 |
| This top pocket is going to be for "extra-credit" jobs. Jobs the kids can do for extra $$$ when their original chores are done. |
 |
| Meagan's Pocket |
 |
| Maddie's Pocket. |
 |
| Alex's Pocket |

As I re-evaluate the jobs I can add or subtract them from the main pool easily. Adding new sticks as new
chores jobs arise. As they complete a job they will have to turn the stick in to me for a pass off. I REALLY like how it turned out.
How do you "do" chores in your house?
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this idea! I want to make this for my family!
ReplyDeleteI just love how you are always incorporating your craftiness into your every day life. This is so clever and it gets the kids excited too. I'm thinking of decorating those tiny mailboxes for my kids and putting their chore list in it at the beginning of the week. They check them off and at the end of the week, they put the completed list in my mailbox and I pay them with an envelope back in theirs....but I love the idea of your kids being able to hand you the stick.
