Lil' Inker Fall Blog Hop - Day 1

Today is just the beginning of some scrumptious

week of fun in the Lil' Inker world.

There are two brand new products debuting....

{If you play close attention,  you'll find a sweet little

clue about the second product unveiling for later this week.}

No. 1 is the ever-darling Fringe Flowers Die:

What a fantastic focal point, beautiful and EASY.

Can you see all those perfect little folds?

I have a few tips and tricks up my sleeve for this darling little die:

1} A heavier weight material such as felt works perfectly.
If you'd like to try other thinner fabrics, be sure to use a shim or two.
And consider adding some fusible webbing/interfacing to the fabric.

2} Use a piece of scrap card stock underneath the felt when die cutting.

3} It fits perfectly in my SU! Big Shot.

4} For  best results only cut one at a time.

I have two more projects, I just couldn't put this die down...

Easy card using the stamps from Lil' Inker Sentiment Flag set.

The center is made with houndstooth felt, next I cut and sewed on a Fringe Flower strip of red and then rolled them in one long continual roll.

Again, so easy! A birthday gift for any age girl, even my teen daughters loved them.

And just one more....

I secured the flower with hot glue and another piece of felt to keep it neat and pretty on either side.

And for the trick... stuff and glue a small craft pom-pom in the back center of the flower...
this makes the center of the flower puff-up!
