For this challenge they were kind enough to
provide me with a stunning stash.
I'm not really a "blingy" kinda girl,
so I went with the item that I am always
looking for - that perfect little piece to
finish off my projects. I'm glad to
say that I think I've found it!
These darling pearls... I adore that they
come in three sizes on one sheet.
This weeks color story from
The Play Date Cafe
is a color splash...
a splash of yellow.
Pencil yellow to be exact. :)
Yeah, you can say I went
all litteral on this one. :P
What can I say, the color story photo
was fab. I couldn't do better than that!
And there's that tiny piece of
pearly perfection that draws
the eye directly to the greeting.
Simple, right?
What fun card Alicia! Love your take on the inspiration photo!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! May I ask whose stamps you used? Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAlicia, your literal interpretation is so cool! My eye went right to the sentiment, partly because I have (and never used) that SU set, and partly because of that one well-placed pearl. Fab job!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! I was going to use pencils as my image too!! TOOOOO clever:)
ReplyDeleteThis card is AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteLiteral but, I love it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic, literal interpretation of the inspiration pic, Alicia! Great job!
