My Whisker Graphics Post:
From Valentine's Day - in detail.
From Valentine's Day - in detail.
With today being about
love and all that mushy stuff
I thought I'd share a little
gift I made for my
sweetie of 22 years.
If you didn't notice, his name is Brett.
Well, Brett has to work on Valentines Day so
I decided to make him a card with
a bit of a surprise...
...an itty banner for
his dreary cubicle.
I placed a Whisker Graphics Itty-Bitty Bag
on the card front, then tucked the banner neatly inside.
Leaving room for some sweet thoughts on the
inside of the card.
Divine Twine served as my string.
Here's quick die cutting tip:
1} To create the tiny banners, I folded
my card stock in half.
2} I placed my die slightly past the folded edge,
hold the card stock and die together with a bit of tape.
3} You'll find that the banners are doubled with the
fold on top, perfect for hanging over the twine.
Happy creating
&
a very happy Valentine's to you all.

ReplyDeleteAwww, this is so sweet~great idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet & creative thing to do for your hubby. Did he put it up in his cubicle? Bet co-workers were jealous! Thanks so much for the tip of how to make the banners--the clear pictures mean I could actually do this--if I had the die!
