I've been busying myself with so much as of late.
And in the midst there is FOOTBALL season!
We love some good college ball here in the Thelin house.
The "family team" is the University of Utah.
I wanted to make a gift for my husband for his birthday,
knowing that he is not into "crafty" gifts, and crafty is what I do,
I was stuck.
Then the idea came to me! ----
Combine his favorite pastime with some of my creative skills,
and this wreath was born...
Chevrons keep the pattern up-to-date.
I painted a wooden "U" and distressed it in the process.
You'll never guess where I found these little footballs.
Then I picked out yarns that I loved and made celebratory pom-poms,
so fun for game day!
A signature of the Utes emblem involves black-tipped feathers. Perfect.
If you are a football fan, let me know your team.
If you'd like to order one of these wreathes from me
I'm currently taking custom orders.

Happy creating!!!
