Memory Lane

As I was a June bride myself, the summer makes me want to drag out my wedding photo album and take a walk down “Memory Lane”. I have recently been taking an online class from Jessica Sprague called Photo Editing: Frame Ups and Special Effects. I always struggle finding the right photo to work with, but was inspired, this time, by the wedding of a close friend’s daughter. For this project I took one of my wedding photos from 1988 and used a hue/saturation layer to turn it a pretty sepia color. Next I “painted on” a layers mask exposing the vibrant colors of the flowers beneath the new layer. (This takes a little patience, but you get the hang of it after a while!) Then just add a pretty frame and you're done! :)

I highly recommend trying any of Jessica’s Photoshop classes at www.JessicaSprague.com whether you are a Photoshop newbie or just looking to tune your skill set up.
