Well, this site (We Make Words) is really cool. (AND I absolutely LOVE the simplicity of the blog - real eye-candy for the typographer in me.)
I am fascinated by all of the commercials, blogs, illustrators and such that make you look past the object and see a face or a word or use found items in a surprising way.
Take time to look past the average everyday view and discover something cool. It's actually an amazing way to focus and really be in the moment visually. You may even find that it's a great meditative technique - like a creative version of "Where's Waldo" - oh, and take a nice deep breath while you are doing it.
Nice.
and while you are at it (and if you are so inspired) create your version of wordart and share it with us (your kids would love this too - a great cold day activity)
