Chalk Boarding

A bit of an experiment on black. I was trying to go for a "chalk-board" look on the black card stock. White craft ink seemed to do the trick with my infamous wood grain stamp. Kinda cool huh?

I find it difficult to stamp white ink onto a dark card stock, you know, it doesn't seem to be perfectly opaque. The dark color seems to show through the white ink and change the color. Many times I'll turn to white embossing powder to maintain that stark whiteness. But I think the bleed-through works for this particular image.
