Pennants

Little pennants are all the rage right? Making them out of textured card stock makes them look even more like fabric, starched and white. A sunny blue sky lying behind a trail off flowered flags.  I can almost feel that grass beneath my feet!

I took the time to hand stitch the flags to the hemp twine, not as difficult as it seems. The small flower and circle punches are the from the delightful punch trio from the Stampin' Up! mini catalog. They coordinate with some sweet little Bitty Buttons and Stamps..... I'll play with those another day and tell you all about them.

One of my fun finds were some scissors like these from Martha Stewart. I think I picked them up on clearance at JCPenny (I call it Pennies - my daughter has no idea where I'm talking about). Anyway.... they are pretty fun to use, I plan experimenting with them in the near future.
