A belated wish for the 4th!

Happy Fourth of July my dear friends. Bless this great country, and the people within. Most of all... may the world find peace, if the world will not comply, at least may we strive to find peace within ourselves.

Such a simple card... two strips of red, one strip of white, a white star and a metal edge tag covered in navy. Then that crisp and clean button.... totally reminds me of a naval uniform. Then the stitching on the stripes... an ode to Betsy Ross and her original work.



I thought about what I wanted to put on a 4th of July card, and what could be better than to wish someone peace. So I found this greeting in a Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! Peace-out.
