Yeah for today! One of the cards I created for the Paper Crafts Card Style special issue is spotlighted on the
MoxieFabWorld blog today. Such a nice surprise to wake up to. I had so much fun making this card. It's so hard to tell that the fabric has an underlying layer of batting and is tufted with six brads.... The second is the original that I send in... if you'll notice they asked me to remove the heart ( I really liked it! ), but you can see the brads and the tufting on my photo.
Moxie Fab Alert: With its rich color scheme, sweeping lines, sparkling embellishments (there are rhinestones that secure this card's quilted texture, but they're hard to see in the photo), this card is dramatic as well as classy and elegant.
This is such a beautiful card full of detail! I love the colors together :)

ReplyDeleteI saw this too and said-hey, that is why she was in Gallery Idol! Such a classy card. And I suppose, why did they ask you to remove the heart? I think it brings the colors to the inside? (But I'm not the editors either, have great respect for them...)
