Long time, no post.

Hey there card making buddies! I'm back from quite an eventful week. Highlighted by the fires that started on the hills behind our home last Sunday, dubbed the "Machine Gun Fires".

This is a photo my husband took looking out the front door and across the street

 We were evacuated from our home on Sunday evening... but we were blessed enough to re-enter our home a few days ago. As of today the fire is considered 75% contained and all evacuations have been  lifted.

Here's a card dedicated to what I didn't get much of... beauty sleep. You know the kind of sleep I mean, relaxed, restful, peaceful sleep. Well, that's hard to come by when an entire mountain is on fire behind your house and the national guard is camped out across the street to protect the neighborhood from looters. This card is dedicated to all my friends who were kept from their homes and beds much longer than I!
