This color green is soooo hard to photograph in the winter light. I wish I'd done it in a warmer tone. Tough colors for me. Metallics are always hard on my creative brain.
Oh yea, you're back! ;) So glad to see you playing at the PDCC, you'll make our gallery shine. Love your card. Did you mix embossing powders for that little gold background piece? I just wondered because this morning I tried to use my clear powder and found it had white mixed in with it. It looked similar to yours. Guess I had accidentally dumped white back in at some point. Anyway, good to see something from you. Hope you had a great holidays!
Alicia....so FAB to have you with us in The Cafe this week! This card is gorgeous and we will use our creative imaginations to make that green the green you see : ) I love all the elements you used to create so much texture! Hope to see you lots and lots in 2011!
Nothing worse than lighting that doesn't cooperate ;) Such a pretty CAS project! Love how you worked in the silver and gold and the touch of embossing is fab!
I love your alternate silver and gold sentiments, with the co-ordinating brads! Not the easiest colours to photograph this week, and certainly not in the winter light! Thanks so much for playing along in the cafe with us :)
LoVe your card! Especially that gorgeous embossed background. It's so tricky taking photographs in this darker light. Thanks for playing along with us at the PDCC!
What a beautiful card! I know what you mean when you photograph certain colors! No worries--this card is STUNNING either way! I love that shimmer! Beautiful:) Thanks so much for playing along and joining in the fun at the PDCC:}
