You've made your merry way here from
Suzanne Dahlberg's fabulous blog, if you'd like to start
from the beginning, head back to the Lil' Inker blog.
--- scroll down for the promised Tiny Tutorial ---
For the last day of Lil' Inker's February Hop
I've made a card using the Notebook Die & Notebook Doodle Stamp set,
and I've added a darling greeting that can only be found
on a limited basis with a $75 order from Lil' Inkers.
{More info and links at the bottom of my post}
Take note that I've only utilized the top edge of the die.
{Let me know in the comments if you want to know how I did it!}
--------------------------
On Monday I posted a felt bracelet that I
created with the new Connected Circles Die:
As promised, here's a Tiny Tutorial
that shows how I extended the number
of connected circles....

![]() The resulting cut. |
2) Flip the cut felt piece around and let the cut
portion hang off of the cutting mat.
3) Overlap the last circle of the die over the
partially cut circle of felt. Be sure to allow the
end of the die to hang off of the cutting mat
to keep the circle strip from being cut apart.
Your resulting continuous strip!
This can easily be repeat over and over again to
create a very long piece for a darling garland.
Doesn't that sound so cute?!
--------------------------
I don't know how many or if there are ANY
left, but see what if you can get your hands on
this little set for free with Lil Inker' product orders over $75.
A stamp set with the darn-cutest greetings -
There are only a limited number available so they are
while supplies last.
You must add the item to their cart and then use code AWESOMESAUCE.
The code will remove $5 from your order giving you the set for FREE!!!
Lil' Inker will be giving away two $10 store credits,
so be sure to leave some love at each blog along the
way for as many chances to win as possible.
Now head on over to your next stop,
which happens to be the Laura Nehring's blog.
Happy creating!

ReplyDeleteThose doodle stamps look good in a soft pastel (and that card would make a great gift card for the felt bracelet!). Thanks for the detes on how you cut the items longer (or shorter--same technique, right) than the original die. I ordered the whole SHE_BANG this month and can't wait to start creating.
