a new spin on monograms

While I'm on this typography kick - I thought I would throw out some ideas on how to use initials and monograms in new and creative ways!

I would love it if you would leave a comment and add to my list.

My intention with this digital layout is to create a family alphabet book about our family. Traditionally, this idea has been used for toddlers and preschoolers - since I am fresh out of those - I think it'll be fun and my kids can help me.

Try making framed monograms with vintage fabric as a background and antique buttons to form the letters. This would be super cute on a shower curtain, too!

How about creating a fun monogram label and place it on a bottle of wine or champaigne for the happy couple or for a house warming gift?

Have your kids form letters with their bodies on the beautiful, green summer grass and frame them to spell out your last name.

Add monograms in chocolate on dessert plates before serving that yummy cake.

Speaking of yummy desserts, check out my new digital alphas in my shoppe at ScrapArtist!
