You're a real peach in my book

Thank you too all of you sweethearts who took a moment from your day to sooth my troubles since Friday. Your comments and advice and down-right precious compliments went straight to my heart. Thank you, my friends. As with most other 'calamities' in my life, time heals all. Over the weekend I have gained some perspective and learned a little bit more about myself, and what should and shouldn't ruin my day.

Our family was visiting with a our backdoor neighbors for games and pie (fantastic apple pie) last night and my new dear friend shared something with me. It isn't the presentation or wrapping of the gifts that really matter... that will eventually be thrown away. But it's what's inside that counts, not even the gift, but the heartfelt feelings and love in which it was given. So I am setting my 'self-damaged' ego aside and creating what I like, when I like.

I've decided to play along with the Gallery Idol challenges just for fun. And only creating one card... no changes, no take-backs. All in fun and support for the remaining contestants. This card is dedicated to all you paper crafters that feel like you aren't getting anywhere. Take heart... you're a real peach in my book.

This rounds theme required a masculine card using something from the garage. I pulled some cardboard and twine straight from mine. This card was quick and dirty--- no excuses. I really like it. It looks even cooler IRL.

Head on over to here to vote for your favorite card in the Gallery Idol challenge!

  4. Fun card, love all the details like how the main image panel extends beyond the base of the card and the angled focal panel. Love your colors too. You are a fantastic designer, with so many crafty people to support you in whatever you do (like me!).
